Kids Love playing with water! Sometimes a little too much can be harmful for your home and flooring

Children love to play with water. Who are we stop them? Parents who are concerned about ruining the flooring! Below are several tips and tricks to keep the water play indoors while also protecting your home and floors.
Water Tables:
- Place the water table inside one of those $10 kiddie pools.
- Sensory bins: Start with a large plastic tote and place a smaller plastic container inside to catch the mess
- Bath or Sinks: Keep the water level low as to allow room for splashing while also keeping the water inside the bathtub.
Bathroom Safety:
- Purchase locks for the toilet as to not allow them to throw toys and shoes in
- Use locking tub drain covers as to not allow them to overfill the bathtub
- Always used a plastic shower curtain inside the tub to help with splashing and reduce the chance over an overflow
- If your child can reach the sink it might be a good idea to purchase a faucet lock
