Fire inspection self test

Everyone has been talking about how cold it’s been, and how early it came. That being said we are guessing there is a good chance we did not get all of the winter inspections done in time. 

Just last month a Fire Chief shared with us a Self-Fire Inspection Form and a Hotel/Motel fire checklist. These are the forms your Fire Marshal or Fire Department use when they are doing their inspections.

I am sharing them with you hoping you will pass them on to your maintenance staff and other employees. Let’s all have a safe winter.

You can find these forms on your local fire departments web page. We recommend that someone who is very familiar with the building be the one who does the fire self inspection.
