I wanted to let you know that our SERVPRO® of Hillsboro/Forest Grove and SERVPRO® of Yamhill & Tillamook Counties as part of the SERVPRO® Disaster Response Team (DRT), has volunteered to help the victims of the Carr wildfire Carr wildfire in California. This area has suffered severe damage with over 98,000 acres scorched and 5,000 structures threatened. Our DRT will be heading to Redding California this week. This area has been among the hardest hit with over 657 homes destroyed and over 149 square miles of land damaged by the fire. We will be helping to restore homes and businesses damaged by these wildfires. Sadly, there are many people who have lost everything in this disaster. Professionally as a property restoration company there was little we can do to help these people, but we took on the task of filling our trailers with items for donation!



Our company decided to help the relief effort by working with The Salvation Army to secure the nonperishable goods needed by the victims. These goods were distributed to the people who were currently living in shelters because they had no homes to return to.
